MckFlurry is our newest baby, Lachlan. When he was born, he absolutely made our hearts spring alive with love we never knew we had left to give.
Flurry is giving me the most enjoyable newborn period I have ever known, not because he gives me such a break (He doesn’t! I’m up at all hours of the night with him.), but rather because I know now how fleeting infancy is. Flurry is often held and doted upon, smiled at and sniffed. I love to gaze into his eyes when he’s awake and pat his sweet bottom when he sleeps. So far, his personality seems very easygoing. He loves to be close to me in the sling and gives us lots of smiles. He has already been tent camping and slept on a stuffed chair at a hotel, too.
Flurry’s favorite activities are nursing, sleeping and lounging on Mama and Daddy’s bed. He loathes being in his carseat and loves bathtime. We think he looks like his big sister! Flurry has a sparkle in his eye that we are so honored to be able to watch develop. What will he be like as he grows? Only time will tell!
