Chores. They teach accountability, responsibility and a good work ethic. They also teach a child to take pride in a job well done, to contribute to the family, and later the community. Any mama of multiple littles will tell you, having things to do also helps to keep little hands busy and out of trouble. MckMama’s MSC love to help! They help clean the house and they even helped to paint their own chore card racks!

So, what are these chore cards MckMama loves so much? They’re from Accountable Kids and they were developed by Scott and Traci Heaton, authors of the book Accountable Kids: Raising Accountable Kids One Step at a Time. The chore card system is super easy to use, even for young kids, and MckMama just raves it! The chore card kit comes as a bundle with a rack and all the cards and stickers you’ll need for one child. Each kiddo should have his own kit to decorate and feel proud of.

Keep your eye on MckMama’s blog because she’s going to tell you even more about this system really soon!
