This makes my heart just hurt for you so much. So very sorry for what you are going through and I have you in my thoughts and prayers. My husband and I just celebrated 19 years of marriage yesterday and I can honestly say, it’s very, very hard work! I admire folks who have been married for 50+ years (my inlaws are one of them!) as my parents divorced when I was in college. Every day can certainly be such a challenge! I definitely noticed with our busy schedules (work, chores and taking care of our folks) and having kids and shuttling them here and there, that there isn’t much time left for “us.” However, we take one day at a time and just know that as we grow older, things will slow down and hopefully it won’t be so much work to make time for one another. I pray that God and your awesome support network will guide through this difficult journey. You have such a lovely and beautiful family and that certainly is the biggest blessing of all! Hang in there strong lady and keep leaning on that faith of yours…God is truly amazing!

What about getting yourself a piece of jewerly you like and wear it. Make it your symbol of how strong you are and also a liberation from all your past worries and that is represents a bright future for you and the children. You will be on a different path than you had planned years ago but you will be on a path that will lead you to happiness and fulfillment in the futrue. Look forward with open eyes amd not backwards.
