Stellan got a “B” today during his biophysical profile and non-stress test this morning. I was sure non-stressed: Since it was an OB home care visit I got to relax in the comfort of my own bed: the whole time!!! An 8 out of 10 is actually a really good score for Stellan. I figured [...]
I’ve got Georgia Stellan on my mind
From the outside looking in, it almost looks like my life has gotten back to the way it was. In some surface ways, I do suppose that this is true. But, largely, it couldn’t be further from the truth. No matter what I do throughout the day, and even in most every single moment of [...]
casting cares
Phfewphfta! What a brickload of brilliant entries for that contest. Well done, well done! I have narrowed the pile down to my favorites and am working on digging through those to come up with my top choice…which I will announce later today. I must say, you outdid even my grandest expectations. That was a heap [...]
The State of the Union my patio.
I am home, and what a homecoming it was!! When I got home yesterday, I discovered this–the state of the Union my patio–and it and it pretty much sums up my life right now. Everything has been dug up–moved–rearranged–and I am not quite sure how to put it all back…and I’m not even sure if [...]
as dawn breaks
I can’t sleep late here at the hospital. I am typically up for the day between 7 and 7:30 (That’s Central Standard Time…want to take a second to figure out when that is compared to you!? Hee, hee.) I am not typically a really late sleeper at home, either, but I’d sure rather wake up [...]
"There’s no place like home!" or, is there?
A lifetime it seems I have already lived here in the hospital. The fact that there are even murmurings around about me “getting to go home by Monday or even tomorrow” is downright unbelievable. But, unless Stellan pulls another fast one–pun most definitely intended–I will be going home…soon! He is only 6 and a 1/2 [...]
38 and a 1/2
Stellan is now at 38 and a 1/2 hours of no tachycardia (the desperately high heart rates he’d been having in the upper 200s to mid 300s) and he has been maintaining a heart rate (with arrhythmia…that is not a big concern right now) within a low to normal range of about 80 to 130 [...]
Top 16, take II….plus more Stellan updates soon!
New Stellan updates coming very soon! ———————————————————- I laughed so hard at what I am about to post, sent by Kimberly in Bellingham, Washington, that I started to wet my bed. And I had just gotten back from a shower and had clean sheets and a clean gown, so I decided to contain myself and [...]

Olympic spirit
The inhabitants of the entire nation of China are not the only ones getting into the Olympic spirit: little Stellan is on gold-medal pace here in my womb!! Since 3:30 am today, he has still not shown any evidence of being back in tachycardia!! His heart is beating rather on the slow side tonight, actually. [...]
