I’m trying to buy that silhouette deal, but it seems that it’s expired? When I add the special bundle to my cart, it says it’s expired. And, when I try to add the regular silhouette, it won’t take. Any ideas?

Nothing to do with this post, but I wanted to tell you…remember your friend who gave a lizard to their kid and it died the next day and you laughed and I was all, “oh but that makes my heart break”? Well, I just got to live it! Was trying to give my daughter the best birthday ever for her 7th. It’s my love language to go all out, gift giving, surprises, make her feel special.
So she was making a book from her new make-a-book set that she’s been asking for for months. Her book was titled “best birthday ever”. She was all dimples and joy, scribbling pictures of presents and zoo visits and picnics and parks and fun that she’s had, when she was interrupted by her Daddy coming home with birthday cake and…SURPRISE! IT’S A….half…dead hamster? Apparently it got heat stroke on the way home. She got to spend the next couple of hours holding it and praying to God that He’d save it before it died in her hands and they’re now burying it. Major. Birthday. Fail.

I’m laughing right now. Oh, boy. But I’m so sorry. “A..half..dead hamster!?” Oh, dear. Update on my friend: They got a new (healthy!) gecko who is living large now.
I have a little boy who is obsessed with having a bearded dragon as a pet. After some research I think it may make a great pet for him. Hope we can get it home ok. Small Fry is absolutely full of life!

Where in Oregon did you camp? We love living in Oregon. We really enjoy being outdoors, and the camping and hiking opportunities here are just phenomenal. Hope you enjoyed your stay! Your pictures are so cute, and I can tell that your kiddos are having a blast!
