Someone is about to have a birthday!
And it’s not this sweet munchkin. She already turned one…when we were in Charlotte last month. I had the chance to photograph and witness first hand her penchant for cake.
It’s too bad she wasn’t adorable or anything.
So anyway, the person with the birthday coming up is my new niece!!! Yes, it’ll be birthday cake and singing before we know it.
My sister is 40 weeks today and went to the hospital just a couple of hours ago to have her baby girl!!! Things are looking up for my sister, who’s had a miserable last couple months of her pregnancy.
Before long, she’ll be cuddling her baby girl, just like this one year old’s mama did a year ago. I’ll keep you updated on Twitter and Facebook through the night and tomorrow, if needed, on my sister’s status. I can’t wait until I can see, cuddle, and of course photograph our family’s newest member!
And if Kitty keeps up the behavior she’s been exhibiting for the past two days, she may give birth to Kitten on the same day my niece comes into the world. I guess only time will tell!

I can’t wait to see picture’s of Hilary’s baby! I am so excited for her! My baby will be coming this month too. I am already 2cm dilated and have been having contractions on and off for three days. Ouch! If she doesn’t come before on her own, I will be induced the last week of May! Cannot wait! Best of luck and prayers to your sister.
May 5 is a good day for a birthday. It is my sons fourth birthday today. It is also childrens’ day in Japan.

Awww….congrats to your sister! Such a fun time, adding on to the family. I would have ten more if I could. Hey…and that would make 19 kids – I’d be tied with the Duggars, LOL. Well, that’s never gonna happen. I’m too old to have 10 more. One more, maybe…possibly two — but ten? Um, not gonna happen

I just don’t see a kitten in that x-ray. I see Kitty’s spine…but no bones belonging to a kitten. If mama’s bones show up, so should the kittens. Especially a fullterm kitten.
I won’t be a bit surprised to find out that kitten didn’t make it through the delivery.
You would think a vet worth his/her salt would be able to tell whether there was a live kitten in the x-ray.
The xrays that I have seen on line of kittens inside a cat I even viewed one where the cat only had one kitten inside looked nothing like the x-ray that she shared. Yes you could see the spine, and yes you could tell that it was a kitten not a white blob.
Every single xray of a cat that I’ve ever seen looks exactly like this!

So sweet! Everyone’s having babies! My sister thinks she might go into labor tonight. She’s only 30 something weeks but she’s been VERY uncomfortable lately. She’s been having contractions today, but no real labor yet.
I’ll be watching for those new baby pictures!
