We are currently enjoying the very first snow of the year! The cat is still around, so we may be looking at our very first official pet. And our family has its very first loose tooth! Excitement abounds.
In other news, I answered questions about everything but the kitchen sink last night.
The thread is right here, should you have missed it and desire to read it.
Be it with snow, a cat, a wiggly tooth or not, I hope you have a great Saturday!

I will take a few moments to read the transcript in between housework tomorrow. And thanks for having a great BF community!
I have that kitchen and was loving it till the oven door randomly fell off!!! My daughter barely played with it. But I still love it!
How exciting for Big Mac to have a loose tooth! Love this cute turquoise tiled kitchen!
MckMama … please keep the snow that way.
I’m not ready for the winter to start (but, I’m in Canada … so I better get prepared)!
We had a perfectly lovely day today – sun shining and 14 degrees (celsius) … not sure what that is in farhenhite … but thats warm for a day in Novemeber in these parts!
Seriously. I don’t know how you do it. I only went to look to see what kind of questions people would actually ask you, but couldn’t go much past page 12 because seriously over 200 pages….. I get the whole, your blog is not private blah blah blah but really do people really expect you to answer questions like how much money you make! I blog and if it ever got to the point where I made money off it (ya right) I would never share that info. You my lady are far to generious with what you already share. I love your blog and the honesty you already provide, I love that you make me smile with pictures of your sweet family, and that you make me laugh with the daily antics of your life. That is enough! Some people need to relax and enjoy their own live’s just a little bit more. Have a wonderful day:)
ooo Small Fry, i LOVE your back spash!
Today was a gorgeous sunny day highs in 70′s with a brisk breeze making it very comfortable! Children were out playing in their yards and riding bikes. That’s the Deep South for ya! I’d like to have a little snow every now and then but the Farmer’s Almanac says we are to have a mild winter. Oh well, good for my low Vitamin D counts.
My mother was an elementary school secretary and all the children wanted ONLY her to pull their teeth because she awarded them with little purple hearts she made out of construction paper plus their names and/or pictures went on her Wall of Fame! A good memory of my sweet Mama who passed away in 2003. Make the most of every moment!
Hi McMama, while everyone is bombarding you with questions I thought I’d throw a question your way as well (which is totally unconnected to kitchen sinks, bunnies, babies, surgeries or loose teeth whatsoever).
You mentioned that you had been on a student exchange to Germany and I was wondering if that was to a sleepy little town called Weinsberg in the South of Germany
))) because I happened to be on a student exchange to Minnesota around 15 years ago or so….
))))Anyway, it is bed time on my side of the world, night night!!!
SNOW???? I was washing my car in shorts, a t-shirt and flip flops just a few days ago. (I’m in Des Moines) I’m just not ready for snow yet. The snow blower is still buried.
I’m so glad you clarified abuot the bunny. Wild animals should not be kept as pets. And bunnies are a risky pet. Cat is an excellent choice. As for everything else, I’m not sure why people spend so much time minding other’s business.
I agree. Cats are great pets – low maintenance and cuddly. I BEGGED my parents for a cat growing up. I can remember at least one Christmas, and I think there were more, when my only Christmas wish was a kitty. But I never got one. Eventually when I was grown and out of the house my parents allowed my youngest sister a cat. I was happy for her but it would have be SO VERY special to me to have been granted my cat wish growing up. We now have 4 kids and 2 cats plus a couple of neighbor cats that we feed treats to and sometimes a dish of food if they seem hungry. The kids love them and they are good for the kids and to the kids. Well, one is a bit skittish and makes herself scarce when the younger ones are about – but who can blame her? I would like to hide under the bed some days too.
I’m glad you announced the loose tooth. Things things really matter in our community. Guess what? I refolded my daughter’s underwear drawer and realized I have TOO MUCH. Does this ever happen to you? You buy new socks and panties when really, all you needed to do was refold? http://livewithflair.blogspot.com/2010/11/what-your-underwear-drawer-can-show-you.html
Oh how fun! I love that sink! I wish I had found one like that for my daughter. Hers is one of the plastic ones and while it’s perfectly cute and she loves it, I would have liked a wooden one more! They remind me of teh one we had in my kindergarten classroom MANY years ago!;) I tried to get in on the chat last night, just to read along, but everytime I would find a starting spot the page would roll and so would my eyes! ACK! Don’t know how you keep up! Enjoy your snowfall…I’m hoping we can hold off til after Thanksgiving for ours…but in Kansas anything can happen!:) Give Kitty Kitty a scratch for me!;)
Oops…I guess it’s not just a sink…it’s a kitchen set! -_- Wishin’ there an edit or delete function for the comments…now I just look like a spaz!;)
Did you bump the color on that photo, you naughty girl!!?? You must promise to never do it again!! Ever!
Seriously though, I love the colors of the faucet knobs! I didn’t know one could buy them like that.
Went to sleep thinking about the nice chat, and all the questions. And woke up thinking about God’s goodness. It WILL be a good Saturday, hope you are out making some McK snow angels!
Big Mac has his first loose tooth?! How exciting! My boys are 7 and 5 1/2 and we have yet to see a loose tooth from either of them. It’s 46* here in Oklahoma, so no snow yet, but I am sure it’s on its way soon. Have a wonderful Saturday with your family MckMama, and make sure kitty stays warm! As for me and my family… we are off to see Veggie Tales Live this afternoon, great fun! God Bless You and Yours! – Sarah
Yes, he does! We were all so surprised and excited!
Hey I’min Oklahoma too! It is a pretty day here! I wanted to go see Veggie Tales but we didn’t get tickets. Have fun.
That is GREAT that they don’t have loose teeth. Did you know (per my dentist…I’m not an expert!) that the later kids get teeth/loose teeth the healthier their adult teeth tend to bed? Ok, brushing probably helps too, but I just thought I’d give your that encouragement!
Tend to BE not tend to bed. Sheesh, I need some sleep
I’m in Oklahoma too and I had no idea VeggieTales was here! =(
I think you “owe” telling us about that cute kitchen sink…. just kidding
But now you have to tell us about that kitchen sink. Just kidding. Have fun in the snow. I don’t miss it at all.
How fun on all accounts have a great day!
