Love it. I am so bitten by the baby bug. I am definitely having another. :) He is so scrumptious!!!

  2. Cassie says:

He’s looking so different and less baby-like! You can see his individual features come out-how adorable!

  3. Kim Bailey says:

okay…baby L’s toes in the #8 picture are the sweetest things I’ve seen in a long time! Well…until I got to picture #14 where it looks like baby L is trying to smile and Nuggey’s grin is huge! Adorable boys!

  4. Eric says:

Do you ever wonder what McNugget will be like as a dad? He looks so much older than 4 holding his brother. His hands are clearly experienced in caring.

The picture of L sitting in Nuggey’s lap is so perfect contentment. I wonder if God has granted him a bit of wisdom that the rest of us don’t have. :)

    Special indeed!

  5. Annie from Oregon says:

My word!! These two are beautiful and more!! I love the way Nuggey’s hands encircle and hold his baby. His strong and gentle hands! A big brother – loving and protecting – and utterly adoring. (Not to mention adorable =o) Just wow.

  6. Amy T says:

I think Lachlan looks like Mama and Small Fry in these pics. Would love to see a set of pics of Big Mac and Lachlan. Unless you already did that and I forgot!

  7. Brenna says:

I am just in love with how much Nuggey loves his baby brother. You can just feel the love in these pictures!!

  8. Carol Gray says:

    They are just to.die.for!

gosh, must be comment day here. Yours is the second blog I have just commented upon…blogs I read very often, but rarely comment !!

  13. Michelle MacNeil says:

OH MY GOODNESS!!!! Such precious pictures of Lachlan and Nuggey!!! I love it!!!! :)

  14. Melissa says:

You have such a beautiful family! Hope you are feeling better today.

  15. Kristin K. says:

When did Lachlan get so chubby? Lol. Too cute. Nuggey has such a big heart it really shows through in these pictures. Lachlan looks like a mix of M & K to me.

  16. Mama M. says:

I love it how babies’ chins just morph right into their necks! What a love…and Nuggey? His eyes are gorgeous! Double love…

  17. ashley says:

    Oh that double chin!

    Melts me.

  18. Bonnie says:

    Sweet brotherly love!!

    Best,
    Bonnie

  19. Beth says:

I seriously got my sugar fix with those precious photos! They are SOOOO SWEET. I think Lachlan has his own individual look too…someone already mentioned that. He is starting to fill out and not look as much like a newborn. Just love the way Nuggey is cradling him. Hope you are feeling better! *hug* take care, J!

  20. Allison says:

Adorable! I like the processing you did on these. And, of course, every time I look at pics of L, I have baby boy fever. :) Hope you are feeling better!

  26. Sarah says:

Delish! :) LOVE L’s chin(s)! And Nuggey looks like he’s in heaven. L is so blessed to have 4 older siblings that adore him! :)

  27. Shondel says:

Nuggey and his favorite little creature. Love your pics!

  28. Tiffany says:

I have to say…I honestly think Lachlan has his *own* look. I felt like K and M look similar. And it seems like C and S looked moreso like the gang when they were smaller. But Lachlan. I see his own little self. What do you think?

    Tiff

  29. JulieHB says:

Wow! I cannot believe how chubby Lachlan has gotten!! He already looks much older than 8 weeks to me…it goes by sooooo fast!!!

  30. Rachel says:

Wow!! He is so chunky now! I love it!!! Do they resemble each other a little??? hmmm

  31. Joy says:

    {{mush}}
    Positively, stinking adorable!
    I’m melting.
And now my uterus aches. Thanks!

  32. SaraSkinny says:

Gorgeous. Just gorgeous. C really loves his baby brother doesn’t he? He makes the cutest expressions in all the pictures, both of them do actually. Lachlan is getting to be such a little chubster. All that milk is doing him good! I think he looks a lot like you in that first picture.

How do you teach the kids to be so gentle with Lachlan? The girls I watch are 4, 3 and 6mos and they just don’t understand how to be gentle with the littlest no matter how much I try to teach them.

  33. Sundrymama says:

I always think these two look so much like You! Lachlan, especially, reminds me of your side of the family. I love that B&W color you have going on there…

  34. So sweet! Love the baby cargo pants, hehe, I always think baby boys looks so stinking cute in miniature big boy outfits! (even if they are a wee bit more work to deal with 2 piece outfits at that age rather than the easy peasy sleepers :-) )

Get some good rest today! That’s an order ;-) You know, from another Dr. Mom…

    • funny thing- when the page refreshed after adding my comment, all 3 BlogHer ad spots were the same thing! Crazy, I’ve seen 2 at a time before, but never all 3 spots the same thing at the very same time!

  35. Mush says:

Loving the pictures, especially the one of N snuggled into sleeping L’s head. Lush. xxx

  36. Shannon says:

definitely K’s nose and definitely M’s expressions!! SF makes those same expressions all the time! oh oh oh this makes me so thrilled to bits to have my baby girl in a couple weeks! :)

  37. erin says:

two precious boys who are too precious~ flurry is getting sooo big~ mama’s milk does a baby good! hope you are recovering well.. been praying for ya. much love and blessings from a finally cooling off ga~ erin

  38. ashley says:

    What sweet, handsome little men!!!

  39. Melissa says:

They get so big so fast…and I love the special love Nuggey has for Flurry! All the kids adore him, but Nuggey just has somethin’ special for his baby brother.

  40. Malissa says:

in the first set, the middle one seems to make Nuggey look older…or at least gives a glimpse of what he’ll look like as an older boy. And I love the way he cradles Flurry’s head…there’s just something about his little hands…

I hope your recovery continues to go well!

PS – I LOVED the video of Marcel the Shell…I was in tears (of laughter, of course)!

much love from the Sunshine State

  41. Those are super sweet photos!

  42. wanda says:

Why? Why must you make my very old ovaries hurt?

Delicious! I can almost smell that sweet baby smell! I’ll take em both!
    Send em, now! ;)

  43. momofm@m says:

Oh my, he’s getting so blonde and chubby. Nuggey looks just thrilled to be holding him. What a great big brother! These 2 look so much like their mama!

  44. Joyce K says:

How precious! They are both so adorable!

  45. Julie says:

    Lovely!

  46. Happiness!

  47. Miranda says:

They are both too adorable, Jennifer! I love the processing on these photos, wish I could master editing. I sit for five minutes playing around and then end up just sharpening, maybe doing a little contrast, and then resizing. My Photoshop Elements is far too neglected!

Btw, I think L looks JUST like Small Fry. It’s going to be fun seeing how he changes as he grows!

  48. katyibarra@yahoo.com says:

He is SOOOO beautiful, so SO sweet. Can’t believe he’s already 8 weeks! Our youngest turned 3 weeks old on Wednesday…they grow TOOOOOO fast…way too fast…still, enjoying every minute and I know you are doing the same…hope you are feeling well and everyone is doing good :-)

  49. Ann says:

Love the pictures, especially the black and white…shows the true beauty of the subjects…..

  50. Laurayne Velasco says:

Lachaln is just a sweetheart! And he looks like a clone of Nuggey! You make good babies Jen!

  51. Janney says:

Such a big boy! And such a proud brother.

I am so happy you are feeling better and, I am keeping you in my prayers.

As someone who has many BIG scars and many little scars, I wanted to let you know that a great way to reduce irritation and help prevent keloid’s is to use fish oil(oderless) with Vitamin E. Take a very small amount and rub it onto the scar. The oil warms as you rub which is very comforting.

Do this AFTER the staples/stitches are removed. Rub for about a minute are too. It does leave residue which is absorbed quickly. I do it in the evening.

It is very safe, non toxic and feels great!

  52. Shannon P says:

He looks just like Small Fry!! WOW!! What a sweetie!!

  53. Elizabeth says:

Beyond beautiful! My favorite is the 9th one down with Nuggey looking directly at the camera.

He looks so much like your other kids now! He is so cute!

    Vanessa

  58. Jasmine says:
