Beautiful women, beautiful scenery, beautiful friendship! And of course beautiful photographic skill from MckMama!!
This makes me miss my best friend. *sigh* She’s been living in Germany the past several years; her husband’s in the U.S. Air Force and they got transferred there. I hope they come back to the States soon, since I can’t afford to fly to Europe. Wish I could!
I have one of those rings myself. Gig ‘em girls!! Happy anniversary MckMama – I celebrated 6 wonderful years w/ my man on Saturday and thought of you and MckDaddy!
Gig ‘em! Kyle’s parents are Aggies! Beautiful pics girl! Love the colors. Have a family shoot in a couple of weeks – going to have to think of some creative things to do.
started the day getting my daughter’s tire fixed..my car’s oil changed, a little Christmas shopping..going to see the musical Wicked with dear friends tonight!!!!!!
My son & I started our day out by running a 5K in memory of a child that lost his battle to cancer. Followed that by mowing my yard, getting groceries and later my husband and I will have date night! Tomorrow brings a family day that will be spent at the Grotto of Redemption. SO looking forward to my family day.
Once upon a time my BFF and I had a photo shoot done, but it was at Sears and it was so cheesy and afterwards we gave everyone pictures of us, and felt lame about it.
But this was a super cool shoot and if photography had been such a big deal back then, we would have gone this route. Man, our picture was so lame. hahahaha.
Yep, sure did! I’ve never used Lightroom before, but between your always talking about it and my photographer brother-in-law raving about it, and all the time I take editing my pics one at a time… well, I pretty much needed it. Ok, I wanted it, really, really, really , badly…
Hey Jen – I love these shots. I was wondering, have you ever calibrated your computer screens (laptops/desktops alike?)
There are simple programs out there that help with it, not too expensive.
I am asking to be nice, not snarky in any way. Really! Honest! Have you ever checked out what your photos look like on other people’s monitors? I love your photos, I really do- but sometimes they are just a little (or more!) toooooo oversaturated. I know you love highly saturated pictures, and I do too- but I am wondering if some of your oversaturation might be a consequence of an uncalibrated screen (they don’t come calibrated, most people don’t know that – i don’t know a professional photographer that doesn’t immediately calibrate his/her screens).
Anyway, I just wanted to ask. Have a great weekend!
I know them! I did NOT know they were doing a photo shoot with you, though! So imagine my surprise when I pulled up your site and saw them! What fun! You captured their beauty amazingly well!
What a fun thing for these girls! I did this with my best friend when we graduated highschool. Such fun memories! I love the 1st picture!! I think it’s my favorite!
Cooked. Cleaned. Played with kids. *Repeated multiple times*. Watched the boys play ball and am now reading blogs. Nothing as glamours as photographing bff’s.
Oh my gosh. What fun pics! We publically announced baby #3 today (on my blog) after having a good 11 week appointment. We took the girls and our doctor is a friend so she grabbed the portable ultraound machine and showed the girls the baby – pointing out it’s fingers, elbows, etc. They waved at the baby as it waved at them. Such a cool moment to see the joy of the pregnancy through their eyes, particularly since I’ve been so sick.
I photographed a beautiful Texan family at their new house!
Gig em Ags! Love that we have made it all the way to the frozen tundra!
I thought those looked like A&M rings before she even mentioned Texas.
Love those Aggie Rings! Whoop! Glad to see the Aggies in the Frozen Tundra, McMama your photography is amazing!
My first thought, too! Gig ‘Em Aggies! Whoop!

Unless your in Texas, in which case, I’m sort of a doofus for how proud I am of my ‘defrosted’ comment.
