If possible I’d like to enter in the give away! The camera would be great because my video recorder is so old that it’s the kind where the tapes have to go into an adapter and then into a VCR (hey, don’t laugh!) so I mostly use my cell phone when doing any vids of my kids.
The laptop would also be a blessing…I’m a student working on my bachelors in Human Services and my laptop recently bit the dust and was so old that it was just not worth fixing. Until I’m able to get a new one, my father has reluctantly loaned me his own.
Really nice of you to do these giveaways, especially with a newbie around. I nursed my daughter until she was two (weaned about 3 months ago!) and I know how hard it is to get anything done. Just enjoy each moment, they sure do go by fast!

I’m 14 and all I do all day is sit on a computer that doesn’t move, I need A laptop and a camcorder so I can move around and film things, I feel like I can do more with my life then to come home, do homework, then do nothing except play games on a computer that don’t satisfy me anymore, I want to get out like a normal teen, please help me.

We live and work in the boonies of western Mongolia as missionaries and both of these items would be so great to have….I’ve recently thought that we really SHOULD have a way to take good videos of our life here beyond the capacity we have w/our little point and shoot camera! Even after almost 20 years here, we still have very little *footage* to show for it!! And the little computer would be oh-so-handy for our times of travel. Even though our just-turned-12 yo daughter is not a *pink* girl, per se, I think she’d put the snatch on that thing pretty fast, if I let her!

We are in the process of adopting a little boy from Uganda. My husband and I will be there a week, then I will be staying an additional 3-5 weeks to finalize things. The computer would be fantastic so we would have a second computer to skype with our other children while we are gone. The camcorder would be great to video some of the sights in Uganda for Emmanuel to have to remember his homeland.

Ahhhh… videos of all the things a 2 year old boy says! Or perhaps those are some things that are better off NOT being recorded! But I digress… I would LOVE the “tech pack.” Hmmm… perhaps my two year old can show me how it works.
I would just adore this cute little thing. I have never owned a new computer, or new anything for that matter. The one I use now is a hand-me-down from my husband, it is 5 years old, it has been wiped and rebooted 3 times, but it is simply on its last leg. I am a preschool/daycare teacher now, but i was out of work for almost 2 years and there is simply no money for a new anything right now. In fact, my cell phone is a hand-me-down from my little brother. This computer would be so helpful for researching this fall too, since I have to take some masters degree classes to keep up my teaching license. And that adorable camcorder! What a treat. I could record my students, and my nieces and nephews. They love doing fun tricks for the camera.

I would LOVE a laptop…..
My daughter receives care at a children’s hospital 2 hours from my home. When we are there for her surgeries, it’s sooooo hard to not be connected to family and friends. I feel like we are in our own little bubble.
I’d love to have a laptop to be able to use when we are there. She will have to have surgeries until she’s fully grown at least, so we’re kinda in this for the long haul.

I am so excited to just enter the contest. 11 years ago I lost my regular voice. I was diagnosed with abductor spasmodic dysphonia, and I’m not able to talk to way I used to. I am trying to continue working to help my family, but I can’t get a job in the regular workforce since I can’t talk on the phone.
