Today is my 6 year anniversary with Prince Charming.
I do not mean to be flippant when I say that we have been through so much in these six years. While we have been though so much good, we also have lived in the trenches of marriage as we’ve endured battles and wars. I truly would not give up any of the heartache and pain we have experienced, for they have served to knit us together and show us the tip of the iceberg about what real love is.
I do love him, this handsome husband of mine. I really, really love him.
And speaking of my real Love, he and I snuck away for a weekend together at a cabin in the woods recently. He wore his wool sweater, made campfires for us, went to art fairs and antique shops with me and was for the most part* a gentlemanly weekend companion.
*You didn’t think we were exempt from fighting with each other while on anniversary getaways, did you?
Oh, and when I asked him, he agreed to do another Ask Prince Charming Anything post! Truth be told, he really enjoyed the last one we did. He was ready to answer all the questions, but I cut him off for the sake of brevity.
